Bill’s thoughts about COVID-19

I’ve faced a few crises in my life. Some serious. Others, not so much, but difficult nonetheless.

You have too.

Previous generations have known this crisis: plague, the Black Death, cholera, the Spanish Flu.

It has been 100 years since the Spanish Flu pandemic.

There’s a lesson here—we’re not all powerful. A little virus, half a cell, can do great harm.

I’d like for COVID-19 to go away. If it won’t go away I hope my dear ones live through it. I hope you live and are healthy.

“All things work together for good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

That means you, my friend. The uncertainty, the financial loss, the stress, this awful social distancing business, even illness and death; they all will somehow work together for good.

You were called by Jesus to be His disciple. He promised never to leave you, nor to forsake you.

What’s the worst that can happen? “For me to live is Christ, to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)

So . . . Do not fear. Live by faith.

There’s plenty of . . .Help & Hope for all of us!
