Bill’s Retirement Reception

Bill’s retirement reception at the Oak Hill Event Center was a joyous event, filled with camaraderie and fond remembrances. We appreciate everyone’s attendance, as we are sure Bill did.

During his highly successful ten year tenure as Executive Director, Bill increased the impact of Loaves & Fishes in providing vital services to the Harlingen community, and oversaw the opening of a sister facility in Raymondville. His contributions to “the hungry, the hopeless, and the hurting” in these communities are countless!

Though we are sad to see him leave, we know that he has been looking forward to spending more time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and so we wish him all the best!

Bill received a Proclamation and the Key to the City from Mayor Chris Boswell, as well as an Achievement Award from Rotary International.  However, the most beautiful gift given to Bill was a Loaves & Fishes Mosaic, presented to him by our board members.

Bill, wish you a long and happy retirement, and we look forward to hearing about your travel adventures.

Thank you, and God bless you!
