The New Hope Job Shop is an exciting program that gives people a second chance to further their education and follow their dreams.

The New Hope Job Shop offers individuals the chance to obtain their GED and learn the skills necessary to find gainful employment.

We offer 3 very distinct educational and training classes: GED Preparation, Computer Classes, and Job Assistance – resume writing and interview techniques. By participating in every step of the program, individuals are prepared for a new career.

The GED Certificate is required for continuing your education – college and career training school. In the Rio Grande Valley, the current GED graduation rate is 1/4 %, meaning only 1 of 40 GED students will be completing a GED Program this year. At Loaves and Fishes, our GED graduation rate is 10 %. We have a successful GED Preparation program.
